Subject Matter Expert (SME) Preparation for Dam Risk Analyses

Description

This interactive virtual workshop provides dam owners, consultants, regulators, and other technical professionals with a practical foundation for participating as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Potential Failure Mode Analyses (PFMAs) and Risk Analyses (RAs). Participants will learn how to apply probabilistic thinking, communicate engineering judgment and uncertainty, navigate differing expert opinions, and understand how risk results support dam safety decisions.
